⚠️Fraud Alert: Be Aware of Individuals Impersonating Talent Groups

Protecting our candidates is a top priority. Learn how to identify fraudulent communications, verify legitimate Talent Groups outreach, and report suspicious activity.

A Message to Our Candidate Community

As internet-based fraud becomes more prevalent, Talent Groups is aware that individuals may attempt to impersonate our recruiters in an attempt to deceive job seekers. These scammers may use fake email addresses, text messages, messaging apps, social media platforms, or fraudulent job postings to obtain personal information or money.

As a trusted staffing and consulting partner, we recognize that scammers may attempt to misuse our name and reputation. We encourage all candidates to remain vigilant and familiarize themselves with the information below.

What to Watch For

Fraudsters may pose as Talent Groups recruiters and contact candidates about jobs that do not exist. These communications often create a sense of urgency and may appear professional at first glance.

In many cases, scammers use personal email accounts or look-alike email addresses that mimic legitimate company domains. They may also attempt to conduct the entire hiring process through text messages or chat applications.

How to Verify You're Speaking with Talent Groups

Our recruiters follow established and professional hiring practices.

Talent Groups recruiters will ALWAYS:

  • Contact you from an official company email domain only: @talentgroups.com, (watch carefully for look‑alike spellings, like talentgroup or talentgroupsusa").
  • Communicate professionally and transparently throughout the hiring process.
  • Use secure, formal systems for employment documentation and onboarding.

·        Provide any required job-related equipment directly through approved channels

Talent Groups recruiters will NEVER:

  • Contact you using our personal email accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, or Outlook.com.
  • Ask you to send money, purchase gift cards, transfer cryptocurrency, or make payments of any kind.
  • Request that you purchase equipment, software, or training materials upfront.
  • Ask for sensitive personal information through text messages, messaging apps, or social media platforms.
  • Conduct interviews exclusively through text or chat-based messaging.

Our Commitment

Protecting candidates is important to us. While we continue to take steps to address fraudulent activity involving our name, awareness remains the best defense against recruitment scams.

If you receive a communication claiming to be from Talent Groups and are unsure whether it is legitimate, we encourage you to verify it before responding. Our team is always happy to confirm whether a message originated from Talent Groups.

🚩 Common Red Flags to Watch For

Be cautious if you experience any of the following:

  • Emails from a non-Talent Groups domain, especially Gmail or other personal email addresses.
  • Pressure to act immediately or threats that an offer will disappear if you don’t respond right away.
  • Requests for banking details, Social Security numbers or copies of identification early in the process.
  • Instructions to move the conversation to WhatsApp, Telegram, Google Hangouts or similar apps.
  • Job offers that seem too good to be true or arrive without a proper interview.
