Matthew serves as Chief Executive Officer of Talent Groups, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the staffing and consulting industry. As CEO, he is responsible for setting the company’s strategic direction, driving scalable growth, and strengthening the organization’s ability to deliver IT talent and technology project solutions that help clients advance critical business and technology initiatives. In his current role, Matthew has also led Talent Groups’ strategic expansion through the acquisitions of EdgeLink, Queen Consulting Group, Abacus Technical Services, The Insource Group, and Progilisys Solutions, further broadening the company’s capabilities and industry reach.

Matthew began his career with The Adecco Group, a Global Fortune 500 company and the world’s second-largest staffing firm. Starting as a Technical Recruiter, he quickly developed a passion for the business and advanced through seven consecutive promotions over 18 years. During his tenure, he held executive leadership roles across eight industry-leading brands, including TAD Technical, Adecco Technical, Ajilon ICT, Ajilon Consulting, VendorPass, Modis IT, Modis Engineering, and Modis Managed Solutions. Through these roles, he gained extensive experience across contract staffing, direct hire, managed services, project-based solutions, onsite MSP programs, payrolling, training and development, and global client solutions.

In 2017, Matthew joined Collabera as Executive Vice President, reporting directly to the company’s Founder, Chairman, and CEO. As a member of the executive management team, he helped support the managed services business unit and launched Collabera’s stand-alone Direct Hire practice, expanding the organization’s capabilities in executive search, direct hire, and global delivery.

Prior to joining Talent Groups, Matthew co-founded Simon+James Group, a boutique firm providing staffing and consulting services to organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Matthew leads Talent Groups with a collaborative, servant-leadership approach and remains closely connected to the business, continuing to work directly with clients and teams. He resides in Houston, Texas, with his wife and son.
