Job Description
The client is looking for a BIM Designer to develop and maintain detailed BIM models using Revit while ensuring coordination across multiple trades to produce accurate, clash-free designs. This role involves collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and onsite teams, updating project documentation, and providing technical support throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings strong proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, hands-on 3D modeling experience within construction environments, and excellent communication and coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BIM models using Revit.
- Coordinate with other trades and disciplines to create accurate and clash-free models.
- Review and update project documentation to reflect design and construction changes.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and onsite teams to ensure adherence to project specifications.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as required.
- Proficiency in Revit and Navisworks.
- Previous experience in BIM Revit 3D modeling/drafting, preferably within electrical, piping and other construction sectors.
- Strong understanding of BIM and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
