Job Description:
Growing healthcare organization in the DFW area is looking for an Data Analyst that will support the data integrity of the organizations Product Master ensuring master data is accurate and complete. You will conduct advanced analyses, research and reporting to identify solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities include review product info for correct categorization/organization placement. (This requires an understanding of how the products are used & fit together in a procedure.)
- Will perform data cleansing and analysis using Excel (sort/filter, import/export)
- Perform data quality audit process, identify potential data issues.
- Conduct research and make necessary changes to ensure data is accurate in the system.
- Partner with vendor to ensure data integrity, quality and standards are followed.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and assist with projects and duties as needed by the department.
- Conduct analysis and research to produce results and identify opportunities for cost saving, standardization and efficiency.
- Manage projects and take ownership of data collection, analysis, and report.
- Establish strong working relationships and active communication with key internal and external stakeholders to effectively manage expectations.
- Willingness and good attitude in learning additional computer skills.
- Must be intuitive - knowing when to ask questions and what types of questions to ask – has a sense of natural curiosity
- This is a semi non-technical job and you will need to be capable of learning things quickly and an ability to do very detailed computer work for long periods of time (much different than the OR).
- Must have a tolerance level for repetitive work that can get very monotonous yet remain very detail oriented.
Required:
- 2 or more years of relevant experience (Excel - formulas, pivot tables, macros) required.
- Strong experience with data analysis required.
- Experience with reading and tweaking SQL queries. Strongly prefer experience command level SQL query writing & execution.
- Strong analytical, database and spreadsheet skills required.
