Job Description:
The client has reporting requirements to the Federal Government and State Legislation. The client uses Fleet Management Informational Software to capture, retain and report Key Performance Indicators related to the expenses of State-owned assets. Data entry and management is also crucial for payment and recoupment processes for the client.
- Ability to interface and transfer data between Excel and a Fleet Management Informational Software platform.
- Transfers hardcopy material to a digital electronic data format system(s)
- Issues/ revokes administrative access and sets access controls for fleet software platforms.
- Supports application design by contributing expertise to operations and technical support teams.
- Ability to learn and adapt to various reporting software systems.
- Ability to research vendor payment information
- Ability to self-manage, spot check, and ensure the accuracy of information entered in electronic database(s)
- Demonstrates and improves industry knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow direction is important and non-negotiable.
- Ability to understand financial reports
Experience:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to multi-task
- Prior experience in the automotive field
- Understanding of the basic rules of accounting
Education:
- Must read and write the English language proficiently.
- Highschool diploma or G.E.D. required
- College degrees relating to Informational Technology, Financial Management, or Automotive Technology will be considered
- Candidates are recommended to have relevant industry certifications and/or experience
