Position Summary
Leads and acts as a senior full-stack developer focused on various digital platforms and software solutions by designing, developing, and testing software. Works within an extreme or agile programming structure and as a programming pair. Development work is focused on mobile applications and web-based applications.
Essential Functions
Job Specific Responsibilities:
- Lead and fulfill a senior full-stack developer role focused on various digital platforms and software solutions by designing, developing, and testing software.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Integrate software components into a functional system.
- Document and maintain software functionality.
- Comply with project plans and industry standards.
- Operate within a pair programming model.
- Test the product in controlled, real situations before going live.
- Maintain and troubleshoot systems that are in production.
- Promote knowledge growth by learning new techniques, languages, technologies, and approaches.
- Passion for writing clean, object-oriented code.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understand mobile trends and how they evolve in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a variety of client settings and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Qualifications
Education & Training:
- Master's Degree: Required
- Role-Specific Training: Roles supporting a specific software must demonstrate competency in the software used in their role. All training and testing applicable to the role must be successfully completed and passed within 180 days of employment. Continuing education requirements must be completed and maintained.
Work Experience:
- Full stack development experience (Required)
- At least 7+ years of software development experience (Required)
- 7+ years fluency in Java, Scala, C#, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python (Required)
- 7+ years experience in developing/testing/deploying/releasing native applications on iOS using Swift or Objective-C and Android SDKs/Frameworks (Required)
- 7+ years experience with Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (Required)
- 7+ years knowledge of SCRUM and agile development with experience working on an agile team (Required)
- Experience refactoring code and evolving architectures (Required)
- Experience crafting automated unit, integration, functional, and regression tests (Required)
- Experience developing cross-platform applications (Required)
- Experience with and understanding of a variety of both web and mobile platforms (Required)
- Ability to judge and recommend appropriate platform choices given context about a particular application (Required)
- Full lifecycle experience from conceptualization to development and deployment of web and mobile apps (Required)
- Knowledge of design patterns for mobile technologies (Required)
- Familiarity with multiple programming paradigms and the curiosity to learn new ones (Preferred)
- Techniques such as test-driven development and continuous integration (Preferred)
