Job Description
- Provides first level, on-site and remote communications/network support including diagnosing, configuring and documenting assigned problems in highly available health care environment for assigned site(s).
- Responds to communication/network issues affecting health system applications.
- Performs first level diagnostic on-site and remote support for network and communication problems and responds to issues affecting health system applications.
- Configures network and communications devices, including but not limited to routers, switches, loadbalancers, and communication servers.
- Racks and stacks all communication equipment and performs testing and tracing of network cables.
- Maintains accurate system documentation.
- Works with service providers as it relates to all network and communication applications.
- Operates under general guidance and work assignments are varied and require interpretation and independent decisions on course of action.

- Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
