The role of an Epic Lumens Analyst involves a variety of responsibilities that are crucial for the effective implementation and support of the Epic Lumens application within healthcare settings.

- Implementation and Support: The analyst is responsible for the implementation, optimization, and ongoing support of the Epic Lumens application, ensuring it meets the needs of Endoscopy and Gastroenterology workflows within the Epic electronic health record.
- Collaboration: The analyst works closely with clinical leadership, physicians, nursing staff, and operational stakeholders to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality procedural documentation and revenue cycle performance.
- Documentation: The analyst is responsible for documenting procedural changes and ensuring that the documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Testing and Validation: The analyst participates in system testing, validation, and readiness activities leading up to go-live, and troubleshoots and resolves build-related issues.
- Training and Support: The analyst provides training, support, and troubleshooting to end users, and documents end-user issues to prevent recurrences.
