Job Description
  • The role of an Epic Prelude/Cadence Analyst entails a variety of responsibilities crucial to the smooth operation of healthcare systems.
Here are some key responsibilities typically associated with this position:
  • Configuration and Maintenance:
    • Configuring and maintaining Epic Prelude and Cadence modules to support new clinic builds and operational workflows.
    • This includes setting up Department (DEP) settings, provider templates, resources, and patient/referral work queues (WQs).
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Conducting testing and quality assurance for all build components to ensure system integrity and compliance.
    • Documenting build processes and maintaining configuration standards for scalability and consistency.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborating with operational teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with scheduling and registration processes.
    • Supporting Community Connect initiatives by providing technical expertise and configuration support for partner organizations.
  • Integration Support:
    • Providing expert-level analysis, configuration, and support for Epic Cadence and Prelude modules.
    • Collaborating with project leadership, clinical stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements and implement system changes.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Preparing documentation, configuration details, and assisting in end-user training as needed.
    • Ensuring compliance with organizational standards and healthcare regulations.
