Job Description:
Position Summary:
This position will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and decision support, with a requirement for candidates who have experience in healthcare finance or clinical trial finance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, a solid accounting foundation, and the ability to interpret complex financial data to support business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support business and operational decision-making.
- Review and interpret financial statements, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop financial models and perform ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial reconciliations, and reporting activities.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency.
- Support special projects and other finance-related initiatives as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years experience in healthcare finance, hospital finance, or clinical trial finance
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with healthcare financial reporting, research funding, clinical trial budgeting, or related financial operations.
- Experience working with ERP or financial management systems.
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, grants, or research accounting is a plus.
