Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Analysts to join our team on a remote contract basis. These professionals will support financial operations by analyzing financial data, reviewing reports, and providing insights to help drive business decisions. The ideal candidates will possess a strong understanding of general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analytical problem-solving. Experience with billing, revenue processes, and emerging AI tools is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial data and prepare meaningful reports to support business and operational decisions.
- Review and interpret financial statements and reports, identifying trends, variances, and potential issues.
- Apply strong general ledger knowledge to support financial analysis and reporting activities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- Assist with billing and revenue-related analysis and reconciliation activities as needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Utilize analytical tools and technology to streamline reporting and enhance decision-making.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 3 years experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with billing and revenue accounting or financial operations.
- Previous experience supporting large organizations or corporate finance teams.
- Familiarity with AI tools or technologies used to improve financial analysis, reporting, or process automation.
- Experience with ERP or financial management systems.
