This individual contributor role sits within a global market access function, responsible for developing and delivering value narratives, evidence-based resources, and communication materials that support global market access efforts for the company's products. The role calls for deep expertise in market access, global payer perspectives, and clinical and health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) evidence communication, translating complex evidence into resources that are both accurate and impactful. This role emphasizes hands-on execution over strategy-setting or people management, and works cross-functionally with international, real-world evidence, health economics, payer marketing, medical affairs, and commercial training teams.
Responsibilities
- Own development of evidence slide decks, field tools, infographics, and other resources that translate clinical, HEOR, and real-world evidence into accurate, impactful materials.
- Support development of market access communication materials such as payer value propositions and global value dossiers, in collaboration with global and US market access teams.
- Translate market and competitive insights into clear value differentiation and positioning narratives for payer-facing materials.
- Partner with international teams to identify where distributors or other ex-US stakeholders need a deeper understanding of HEOR/real-world evidence, serving as a resource on that communication.
- Develop creative approaches to increase awareness of HEOR/RWE research and market access strategy across the organization, including contributing to a market-access newsletter and other communication vehicles.
- Support other market access priorities as needed, including policy monitoring, payer research, and HTA landscaping.
- Help shepherd materials through internal review processes (e.g., MLR) to support timely, compliant dissemination.
- Support vendor management activities, including vendor communication, contract and invoice processing, and related project and administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in life sciences, HEOR, or a healthcare-related field required.
- 3-6 years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a value communication or market access-focused role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ex-US and US market access acumen, including understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement processes, payer evidence requirements, and health technology assessments.
- Demonstrated experience developing value communications such as payer value propositions, global value dossiers, local submission dossiers, or HTA scientific advice briefing books.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with sound judgment navigating a complex, matrixed environment.
- Highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, and data visualization.
