Job Description
The client is seeking an experienced, onsite LIMS Subject Matter Expert and Technical Project Liaison for a Clinical Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) implementation project.
Responsibilities
In addition to providing general LIMS subject matter expertise, the consultant would have the following responsibilities:
- Supporting consistent, clear communication across all project groups.
- Interpreting and communicating laboratory, technical, and operational requirements to relevant personnel.
- Coordinating onsite activities related to User Acceptance Testing and workflow deployment.
- Recording onsite challenges, risks, and impacts, and escalating them to JMC PMs, Lab leadership, and IT as appropriate.
- Assisting laboratory personnel as they learn the new LabWare LIMS and transition from the current Horizon system.
- Troubleshooting workflow issues within the LIMS environment.
- Contributing to changemanagement efforts by identifying needed updates to lab practices, system functions, and implementation activities.
- Reviewing JMC project status reports and participating in project status meetings.
- Maintaining a fulltime onsite presence to support all project activities.
