Job Description
The client is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate vendor contracts, and manage supplier relationships across categories such as SaaS, technology, professional services, and marketing. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of procurement experience, strong expertise in contract negotiation, spend analysis, and stakeholder collaboration, with experience using procurement platforms such as Coupa or SAP in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs) for assigned spend categories including SaaS, technology, professional services, and/or marketing
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and SLAs with vendors to drive cost savings and risk mitigation
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers; conduct business reviews and performance evaluations
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (Legal, Finance, IT, HR, etc.) to align procurement strategies with business needs
  • Spend Analysis: Analyze category spend data to identify savings opportunities and consolidation strategies
  • Compliance & Risk: Ensure vendor contracts comply with company policies, data privacy requirements, and regulatory standards
  • Process Improvement: Support or lead initiatives to improve procurement workflows, tools, and policies
Qualifications
  • 5–8 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Experience with procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Service Now, or similar)
  • Proficiency in spend analytics and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
  • CPM, CPSM, or similar certification a plus
Preferred Experience
  • SaaS or technology company procurement background
  • Familiarity with software licensing, cloud services, and professional services contracting
  • Experience supporting a high-growth, fast-paced environment
