Position Overview
We are seeking a mission-driven and highly organized Project Manager to support the oversight and implementation of a groundbreaking public health model designed to improve access to treatment for individuals living with rare hematologic conditions. Working closely with the Project Director, the Project Manager will coordinate project initiatives, track milestones, foster and maintain stakeholder relationships, and ensure the project progresses on schedule and within scope.
This position is ideal for a clinical or public health professional with strong project coordination experience and a passion for improving health outcomes for individuals affected by rare diseases.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Director in overseeing all aspects of the access model's implementation and execution.
- Coordinate project meetings, maintain project timelines, and manage key deliverables.
- Facilitate partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and communication across project teams.
- Monitor day-to-day project operations, track tasks and deliverables, and ensure objectives are met efficiently.
- Assist in evaluating program outcomes, identifying success measures, and assessing progress against established benchmarks.
- Provide regular project updates and progress reports to the Project Director.
- Maintain project documentation, organize data, and assist in preparing presentation and reporting materials.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and Licensure
Candidates must possess one of the following:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); or
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN); or
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm); and
- A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in public health project management, healthcare quality improvement, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience supporting clinical, public health, or healthcare initiatives.
- Strong understanding of healthcare access issues, including rare hematologic conditions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management or project-tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Medicaid, public health, or government-funded healthcare programs.
- Knowledge of advanced therapeutic access programs.
- Experience with healthcare quality improvement initiatives and outcomes measurement.
- Experience supporting grant-funded projects or initiatives.
- Registered Nurse (RN),
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh).
