Job Description

Our client in Chandler, AZ, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented QA/QC Technician for an exciting contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is essential in ensuring that all quality standards are met and maintained throughout various stages of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review Purchase Orders: Ensure all site purchase orders meet applicable requirements.
  • Vendor Inspection Management: Control and manage on-site and off-site vendor inspectors.
  • Nonconformance Resolution: Coordinate and resolve nonconforming products by reviewing vendor QA/QC systems in line with contractual requirements.
  • Inspection Meetings: Attend inspection procurement meetings to facilitate quality control.
  • Vendor Quality Coordination: Oversee vendor quality approvals as needed.
  • Documentation Verification: Ensure all documentation and certificates for materials purchased by vendors are verified.
  • Supplier Quality Plans: Review supplier quality plans against contract requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Procurement Document Review: Verify that quality requirements are accurately translated into purchase requisitions and design documents.
  • Supplier Procedures and Qualifications: Review supplier inspection procedures and personnel qualifications to ensure they meet standards.
  • Material Certificates Review: Examine supplier material certificates for accuracy and compliance.
  • Audits and Surveillances: Participate in supplier audits and surveillances to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Quality Improvements: Collaborate with management to implement quality improvements.
  • Nonconformance Reports: Issue and track all nonconformance reports, monitoring the progress of all purchase requisitions.
Qualifications:
  • Construction Experience: Previous experience in construction is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Being bilingual or fluent in Spanish is highly desirable.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
