Job Description
- Strong foundational knowledge of manual testing principles, including test case design, types of testing (functional, regression, API, performance), and defect management.
- The technical skill to write, run, and maintain automated test scripts (Playwright, TypeScript, Java, k6, MCP, AI-assisted testing, and others).
- Proficiency in using developer tools, reading error logs, and tracing the source of an issue to provide detailed information to developers (Google DevTools, application logs, HTTP requests/responses, stack traces, heap dumps, etc.).
- Competency with test management tools (Zephyr Scale, GitLab, etc.) for logging bugs and tracking test progress.
- Knowledge of various database systems, including relational databases and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with specialized test data management and data governance platforms.
- The ability to analyze test requirements and profile existing production data.
- The ability to systematically break down complex processes, identify bottlenecks, waste, and variation, and then develop innovative, data-driven solutions is a core skill.
- The ability to execute predefined test cases and also perform unscripted exploratory testing.
- Proficiency in translating high-level business and functional requirements into detailed, efficient, and comprehensive test cases.
- Knowledge of industry-wide quality assurance measures, testing standards, and current best practices.
- Knowledge of identifying potential quality risks, assessing their impact and likelihood, and formulating effective mitigation strategies.
- The ability to be proactive in identifying potential issues early in the development lifecycle rather than reactively finding them later.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with software engineers, system personnel, and management.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
- Attends meetings and training as required.

- The ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree and three years of relevant quality assurance/automated testing experience; or three years of experience as a Business Analyst or Software Engineer .
- Three years of relevant quality assurance/automated testing experience; or three years of experience as a Business Analyst or Software Engineer. Additional work experience in these or other related fields may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required formal education.
