Job Description:
We are seeking a Program Coordinator to support revenue cycle operations within a hospital setting, focused on driving process improvement, analyzing performance data, and managing key operational workflows. This individual will act as a subject matter expert across billing through collections, using reporting and data insights to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, particularly within denials and billing processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with Epic, and the ability to oversee and maintain automated processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This is a highly dynamic, project driven position ideal for someone who is detail oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple areas of the revenue cycle while collaborating with cross functional teams.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle
- Experience in hospital setting
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with denials, billing, and collections
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Experience with process improvement and automation
- Ability to manage processes end to end
- Understanding of AI concepts in operations
- Experience across full revenue cycle (billing through collections)

This person will take ownership of key processes across billing, denials, and collections, with a strong focus on analyzing data, identifying gaps, and driving improvements.
- They need someone who can look at reporting, interpret what the data is saying, and clearly answer: What is happening, Where are the gaps, What needs to be fixed
- This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a constantly changing, project based environment. The manager is specifically looking for someone who can step in, evaluate different areas of the revenue cycle, and make an immediate impact.
What This Person Will Be Doing:
- Analyze revenue cycle reports, especially denials and billing data, to identify trends and performance gaps
- Translate data into actionable insights and improvement opportunities
- Lead discussions with departments to review findings and drive process improvements
- Own and monitor key processes, including automated workflows, ensuring there are no gaps or breakdowns
- Act as a “watchdog” over revenue cycle operations to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Support process improvement initiatives across billing, denials, and collections
- Manage multiple projects and shift focus based on business needs
- Partner with cross functional teams and report findings back to leadership
Job Summary:

- Analyzes, coordinates, and evaluates program operation and procedures.
- Develops or oversees development of budget for program.
- Develops, cultivates, and maintains working relationships with internal and external departments agencies and other organizations associated with and or receiving benefit from program.
- Establishes program goals and objectives and directs program evaluation and quality control activities develops and or approves schedules priorities and standards for achieving goals.
- Plans and coordinates special events. Participates in conferences. Presents data and program information.
- Responsible for design execution and effectiveness of system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that operations are effective and efficient assets are safeguarded and financial information is reliable.
- Ensures compliance with applicable laws regulations policies and procedures.
- Leads literature and attends functions to keep abreast of relevant scientific and technical developments related to program.
- May provide supervision to staff members.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Health Care Administration Education Social Science or related field
- 5 years experience in appropriate field or
- May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
- Work requires ability to read write analyze data develop plans and procedures and coordinate resources to accomplish goals.
- Work requires good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work requires responsibility for development maintenance and tracking of program accounts budgets.
- Work requires responsibility for review recommendation development and implementation of policies related to program.
