Job Description
The Digital Core Application Team organization leads the evolving development of core applications such as Order Management Systems, ERP, Merchandise Financial Planning, Markdown Planning, Payment Gateway, and brick and mortar Retail Systems. The Digital Core Application Team has a requirement for a Scrum Master to augment the team and to help drive projects in an agile methodology framework.

Job Summary:
  • Will support multiple SAFe agile teams through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) to deliver features and enhancements to our core applications such as: Order Management Systems, ERP, Merchandise Financial Planning, Markdown Planning, Payment Gateway, and brick & mortar Retail Systems.
  • Will be leading a scrum team (or more) through the entire software development life cycle (SDLC) for features to support and enhance the organization's digital properties.
  • Hands-on involvement implementing changes that have a direct impact on our shopping customers. Core responsibilities will be enabling teams through facilitation of scrum ceremonies as a true servant leader and to ensure that goals, scope, and budget are met by the team and potentially cross teamwork.

Skills and Experience:
  • 5 - 8 years as a Scrum Master/project manager/program manager with dedicated agile teams using scrum/SAFe.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, tailoring to audiences
  • Proven success as a servant leader and self-starter demonstrated via proactiveness in a highly collaborative, matrix environment
  • Strong working knowledge of agile methodology, techniques and frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Relevant undergraduate BA, BS degree in IT or Business or equivalent experience

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and facilitate agile team ceremonies using SAFe Framework
  • Coach and mentor team on agile ways of working
  • Support delivery of epics
  • Identify resolution for impediments
  • Manage dependencies internal and external to scrum team
  • Work closely with Product Owner to understand and align on backlog priorities
  • Conduct team retrospectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
