Job Description
The company is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to lead and support hardware installations, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities at customer sites. This role will develop deployment documentation and technical specifications, resolve complex installation and boot-up issues, and serve as a customer contact for deployment-related inquiries. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with mid-to-large scale hardware refreshes and deployments in a government environment, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to travel frequently while supporting mission-critical systems.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop deployment support documentation for customers
  • Work with the management to develop deployment specifications and configurations
  • Analyze and troubleshoot deployment issues in a timely manner
  • Act as customer contact for deployment related inquiries and issues
  • Install and test hardware at FAA customer sites
  • Create technical artifacts needed for deployments at FAA customer sites
  • Troubleshoot malfunction occurrences during  hardware installations
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree (in computer science, engineering, or mathematics) + 10 yrs. related experience 
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be able to lift at least 30lbs
  • Experience using power tools
  • Experience troubleshooting installation/boot-up issues
  • Vast knowledge and experience  with mid to large scale hardware refreshes/deployments in a government environment
  • Must have analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must have time management, priority allocation and task management skills
  • Ability to interact with customers and team members
  • Must be able to work in a time-sensitive environment installing hardware on mission-critical systems
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must be able to travel- travel will be frequent
  • Excellent customer service, Interpersonal skills and communication skills are required
