Job Summary
The Business Analyst partners with business, clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders at a large pediatric health system to analyze needs, document requirements, and support delivery of ServiceNow solutions. You'll act as the liaison between process owners, end users, developers, administrators, and project teams, facilitating discovery sessions, translating business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, and supporting testing and adoption as the organization's ServiceNow footprint grows.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders to identify needs, pain points, and process gaps
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation for configuration and development teams
- Analyze current- and future-state processes and recommend improvements that support automation, efficiency, and user experience
- Partner with administrators, developers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood, traceable, and implemented as intended
- Plan and support user acceptance testing, including test case development, defect triage, and business sign-off
- Maintain process documentation, functional specifications, training materials, and release notes
- Support production issues, enhancement intake, backlog refinement, and release readiness
Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
- 5+ years of experience as a ServiceNow Business Process Consultant
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications, business processes, or technology implementations
- Experience gathering requirements, documenting current- and future-state processes, and writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Experience working within agile, scrum, or hybrid delivery environments
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, information technology, computer science, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification
- Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA), or willingness to obtain one within a year
- Experience in healthcare, clinical applications, or other regulated enterprise environments
