Our client, a financial services organization implementing a new digital banking platform, is looking for a Solutions Architect to serve as technical advisor and advocate throughout the implementation — providing architectural oversight and ensuring decisions align with business objectives, on-site in Charlotte, NC.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the target solution architecture for the digital banking platform
- Evaluate vendor-recommended designs, integrations, and technical approaches
- Ensure platform capabilities align with business requirements
- Review integration architecture spanning core banking, payments, fraud, authentication, and digital channels
- Identify technical risks and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies
- Provide technical leadership through design, testing, and implementation
- Serve as the primary technical liaison between the client and the platform vendor
Qualifications
- 10+ years of solution architecture experience in banking or financial services
- Strong understanding of digital banking ecosystems, APIs, integrations, and security architecture
- Experience with platforms such as Q2, Alkami, FIS, or similar banking technologies
