Job Description

  • This is a very exciting opportunity to join the ServiceNow Support Team as a Application Systems Support Analyst. ServiceNow is an industry leading cloud-based platform that provides a suite of applications used across the company to automate IT and business processes.
  • This role will collaborate with Process Owners and Requestors across IT and the Business enabling the Agile Support team to define and deliver on the strategic roadmap.
  • The Support Analyst will work to stakeholders to refine and document requirements, understand business outcomes and recommend solutions on the ServiceNow Platform.
What you'll be doing
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and management to gather and support prioritization of complex business requirements, providing recommendations, managing expectations, and communicating progress effectively
  • Consults/Analyze with Application Developers and Architects on more complex assignments and/or projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility to design solutions that meet business needs while maintaining the integrity of the platform
  • Liaises with multiple IT departments to gather all necessary and required information needed, documents and validates more complex technical requirements.
  • Serves as a resource to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on more complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Provides input to project plans including defining more complex support tasks, task dependencies and estimates for completing work.
  • Identifies and recommends process improvements that significantly reduce workloads or improve quality for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features, capabilities, and best practices to continuously improve the platform
Must-haves:
  • Minimum 4 Years of experience within Information Technology
  • 3 - 5+ Years of experience in ServiceNow Administration, Business Analysis, Project Management
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification preferred or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow platform components, including workflows, forms and scripting (e.g., JavaScript, Glide, PowerShell).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, CSS, XML, JSON) and relational databases is a plus.
  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)
Nice-to-haves:
  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Configuration Master Database (CMDB), Integrated Risk Management (IRM) or related domains or ServiceNow modules
  • Exposure to integration tools (e.g., REST, SOAP, JDBC) and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Understanding of Agile or DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience thinking outside of the box to provide creative and effective solutions
  • Proven ability to be adaptable, agile and flexible to provide creative solutions
