We are looking for a Big Data Analytics Solution Expert who will help our clients evaluate and implement big data and advanced analytics solutions on-premise and later in the Cloud. The Data Analytics Solution Architect is responsible for directly working with a client problem statement in a consultative solution architect and delivery role. Typically, he/she performs the following:
- Help customers select the technologies that will support their business requirements.
- Work closely with the other architects on Big Data, Databases, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or Security, as well as the Business Development teams, to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of Data Lake for their data processing platforms.
- You will interact with other enterprise architects, providing guidance on their customer engagements by developing white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and 3rd parties to fully leverage Data Lake platform.
- Definition and planning of enterprise, solution and component data analytics architecture and technology
- Hands-on role in crafting and executing technical proof-of-concept initiatives; and leadership of solution design and engineering teams.
- This role is also a key leader and mentor for Data Analytics technical consultants at all levels, assembling and managing high performance client technical teams, and contributing to the development of individual, the Capital Markets Data Analytics Practice, and Genpact Analytics Service Lines
- Will also create field enablement materials for the broader Data Analytics Technology population, to help them understand how to integrate Analytics on Data Lake on premise and cloud into customer architectures
Primary Responsibilities
- Enterprise and Data Analytics solution architecture, design and development
- Big Data Analytics Solution Architecture Design
- Lead design, architecture and building of data analytics solutions for an entire line of business.
- Provide thought leadership as a member of the platform's architecture team
- Conduct proof of concept work to determine proper configurations, design patterns and general tool fit for the platform tenant
- Project Delivery Responsibilities
- Design new system based on data lake and big data technologies with partnership from architecture and other technology teams
- Provide leadership to the team for project planning, requirement analysis, design and implementation and co-ordinate testing activity
- Work closely with client business partners to analyze and resolve all issues and enquiries
- Provide consistently high level of client service to our client business partners
- Lead a group of Client, Architect and developers (Developers would be cross vendor and FTEs but majorly Genpact)
- Co-ordinate and manage the full SDLC through production and support
- Program Delivery
- 100% engaged with the enterprise data analytics project team through the entire SDLC on a daily basis taking full ownership and accountability of the project development and delivery
- Single point of the Data Analytics Solution Architecture for Genpact across all stakeholders of client organization
Mandatory Technical Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of recent, progressive experience and demonstrable technical expertise in enterprise-class data analytics solutions and services
- Minimum 10 years of recent, progressive experience in technical consulting leadership roles
- Experience to design and build a framework to orchestrate data pipelines and Integrate AI & Client based 3 rd party / be-spoke tools
- Minimum 5 years of recent leadership experience in enterprise-class data analytics architecture, including
- Significant experience in designing and building a data management lifecycle covering Data Ingestion, Data integration, Data consumption, Data delivery, and integrating Reporting, Analytics and System-System integration
- Significant experience in designing Data lifecycle architecture using AI and Client based cognitive tools / be-spoke modular solutions.
- Proficiency with tools to automate workflow and data pipelines
- Experience and detailed knowledge with Master Data Management, ETL, Data Quality, metadata management, data profiling, micro-batches, streaming data loads.
- Significant depth in two or more data analytics solution architecture components
- Experience designing and implementing complex solutions for distributed systems
- Working knowledge of application and system availability, scalability and distributed data platforms
- Technical expertise/experience in one of the following areas:
- Architecture and applications on or incorporating data analytic technologies in Hadoop, Spark, R, and other open source and proprietary data analytics platforms and tools
- A strong understanding of market-leading data pipeline and analytics technology tools, platforms, and trends, specially tools that are backed by AI/Client cognitive features
- 5+ years of hands on experience Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Sentry, HBase, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, MapReduce, S3 etc.
- Knowledge and experience with containerization technologies: Kubernetes, ESX and Dockers
- At least 5 years of experience in the Big data / Hadoop ground-up data lake architecture / design / implementation preferably in a large enterprise (preferably a bank)
- At least 5 years of Working experience on building financial services data lake
- At least 10 years of experience in building applications using Java, ETL tools, RDBMS and enterprise Data warehouse
Mandatory Domain Qualifications
- Ability to understand wholesale banking (Lending, Capital markets) products and working with various wholesale banking groups includes operations, back office, front office, compliance and risk groups
- Experience of design and implementation of large scale and complex data warehouses related to wholesale banking and capital markets or finance
- Solid hands-on experience in data/business strategy, data governance, and implementing data/business solutions, including data architecture, data modeling, metadata management, and data integration
Other Mandatory Skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to lead the conversation with many different technology and business groups
- Experience in estimating technical solution builds, and executing large scale project design and implementation
- Experience in solutioning and leading custom proposals, responses to Requests for Proposal, Statements of Work, advisory deliverables, and executive-level presentations
- Recent work references related to industry and data analytics architecture, technology, and design/engineering leadership expertise
- Completion of a B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent
