About the Role:  

Our client is seeking a dynamic Business Analyst to join their team, with strong UX instincts and rapid prototyping skills to support their internal software applications. This is a hands-on role centered on gathering requirements, leading stakeholder discovery, and creating wireframes and mockups that accelerate product iteration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead workshops and discovery sessions with internal stakeholders
  • Create mockups and wireframes using Balsamiq, Lucidchart, or similar tools
  • Translate complex workflows into testable, clear user stories
  • Act as a liaison between internal users and the IT team, effectively communicating user needs and technical limitations.
  • Gather and document requirements for system enhancements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
  • Develop and maintain clear and concise business requirement documents.
  • Analyze and improve business processes through technology solutions, aiming to reduce manual tasks and enhance user experience.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and implementation of software updates and new features.
  • Balance multiple initiatives and projects, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting implementation deadlines.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills. Convey complex product details effortlessly to diverse audiences, fostering clarity and understanding.
  • Display a keen eye for detail, strategically applying it where necessary to ensure precision and accuracy in all endeavors.
  • Embrace a critical thinking mindset, unafraid to pose questions and explore uncertain answers, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving abilities, capable of independently identifying and resolving challenges. Exhibit curiosity, share solutions and insights collaboratively to benefit the team.
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong experience creating wireframes, mockups, and process flows
  • Expertise with Balsamiq or similar tools
  • Demonstrated skill in mockup-driven collaboration
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, especially with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in Agile environments (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Bonus: Familiarity with accounting systems or workflows
