Job Description:

The client is seeking a seasoned Business Process Consultant to lead improvements in the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process for the client Professional business. This role will focus on enhancing the Commercial Brand Review (CBR) and Demand Review (DR) steps of the IBP framework, driving alignment with North America’s standard S&OP/IBP processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with NA Consumer IBP core team to build capabilities and enable collaboration across Professional and Consumer teams.
  • Own project management aspects, including leading cross-functional workshops, timeline development, and preparing executive-level presentations
  • Implement standardized IBP processes across CBR and DR steps, including improvement initiatives and governance routines.
  • Establish escalation thresholds and improve the use of risks and opportunities within the IBP framework.
  • Support integration between demand planning, supply planning, and financial forecasting processes.
  • Drive improvements in forecast bias and forecast accuracy by leveraging data analytics, scenario planning, and range-based forecasting techniques
  • Optimize CBR process to capture accurate inputs and align them with Demand Review, enabling improved forecast accuracy and stronger integration of commercial insights.
     
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in business consulting, sales forecasting, demand planning, or S&OP/IBP process improvement.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across commercial, marketing, and finance functions.
  • Strong understanding of demand forecasting principles and IBP/S&OP frameworks.
  • Demonstrated expertise in integrating Commercial and Sales processes within the IBP framework.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at the executive level and navigate complex organizational structures.
  • Demonstrated success change management and capability building and within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience integrating planning processes across multiple business units or product categories.
  • Familiarity with scenario planning, threshold-based forecasting, and consensus demand modeling.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with data to challenge assumptions and drive decisions.
  • Experience in both Commercial as well as Demand Planning or IBP roles
