- The ideal candidate will be a high-impact project leader responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing Capital Expenditure (CapEx) and infrastructure improvement projects to enhance facility capacity and structural integrity across company sites.
- Initially focused on the Chattanooga area, this role serves as the primary driver for critical facility evolutions, including structural remediation, storage expansions, and complex site commissions.
- The incumbent will bridge the gap between ideation and full execution, ensuring that every capital investment delivers on time and within budget and aligns with our enterprise goals.
- Oversee all aspects of capital projects, including managing structural remediation, coordinating with General Contractors (GCs), and overseeing facility commissioning.
- Control and manage all project data (e.g., financials, ROI projections, and resource loading).
- Champion standard PMO processes (e.g., RAID logs, formal status reporting, and PMBOK-aligned methodologies) to drive project management maturity across the organization.
- Prepare and present program-level reporting for the leadership teams, adopting a data-driven and direct communication style.
- Adopt a guiding tone when communicating with cross-functional project teams, building a collaborative team environment.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of infrastructure projects.
- Perform rigorous risk management and maintain comprehensive RAID logs to minimize project disruptions.
- Develop project scopes and objectives involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure technical and financial feasibility.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- 5+ years of end-to-end project management experience, specifically within industrial infrastructure or capital improvement environments.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly preferred.
- Proven ability to confidently lead and facilitate large-scale project planning workshops and facility operational sessions.
- Mastery of Project Management Software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or O365 Power Platform) and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex project data into actionable leadership insights.
