Job Description
This role focuses on managing transportation claims and coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution and recovery of funds. The position requires proficiency in SAP and Excel, strong communication skills, and involves tasks such as data entry, order processing, and end-to-end freight claim management.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the transportation claims inbox and work with the vendors, customers and internal partners to ensure that the client is recovering the appropriate funds
- Assist with end-to-end task completion
- Maintain daily contact with key client contacts and perform data entry / order processing within specified system.
- Document and report on status of pending inquiries regarding account problems, plus some outgoing phone calls.
- Intermediate position that requires a Bachelors degree or 8+ years of equivalent experience.
- Work with freight payment team to ensure any disputes with transportation carriers are solved timely
- Communication with carriers to ensure that there are no gaps in information required
- End to end management of freight claims inclusive of assisting the client in creating a new procedure in how to file claims
- Assistance to returns and refusals inbox which will require associate to coordinate with carriers, distribution facilities and customer service to determine if loads need to be cancelled, re-scheduled or re-worked
