Job Description
The client is seeking experienced, Epic-certified Application Security Leads to oversee the design, governance, and optimization of security within the Epic environment. These leads will manage user access, maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, and guide multidisciplinary teams to ensure secure and efficient Epic operations across multiple applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain Epic security templates, shared classes, and role structures.
- Lead security governance initiatives and collaborate across application, compliance, and operational teams.
- Manage operational security needs including testing, workflow validation, and user maintenance.
- Oversee ongoing maintenance and optimization of Epic security and provider management.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data protection standards.
- Partner with analysts and business leaders to align security models with organizational objectives.
Requirements:
- Current Epic certification in relevant applications:
- Revenue Cycle: 2 certified in Hospital Billing (HB), 1 certified in Professional Billing (PB)
- Ancillary Applications: Certified in Cupid, Radiant, Lumens, or Anesthesia
- Strong understanding of Epic security build, user provisioning, and access management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and implement security best practices.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
