Job Description
The Epic Beaker AP Analyst is responsible for the implementation, configuration, and optimization of the Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) module. This role partners with pathology, laboratory, and IT stakeholders to ensure system functionality supports clinical workflows, regulatory requirements, and operational efficiency.
- Lead recurring status meetings with lab operational leaders, provide clear progress updates, identify and resolve issues.
- Prepare for the transition from CoPath to AP Beaker by comparing workflows, identifying gaps, and identifying impactful changes in specimen tracking, processing, and resulting.
- Organize cross team collaboration with Optime and Radiant for updates to the specimen navigator to leverage Beaker functionality, including order visibility, standardization of specimen description and preparation for default protocol selection in the lab.
- Work with Third party vendors to ensure connectivity requirements and testing timelines are met.
- Engage and align stakeholders from pathology, IT, laboratory, and clinical teams to define requirements and achieve consensus across the BMC Health System.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience implementing the Epic Beaker Anatomic Pathology (AP) module in a healthcare environment
- Active Epic Beaker AP certification required
