Job Description
- This position supports the planning, design, development, and build of supported applications / systems; leads and/or coordinates system testing and documentation of system procedures; participates and provides input in training design and development and assists in training execution related to assigned projects; provides go-live support and serves as primary point of contact for on-going production maintenance/support and troubleshooting.
- Participates in on-call / after-hours support schedule as defined within the team.
- Understanding of operational revenue cycle and HIM workflows.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; demonstrates awareness of the industry, including regulatory, evolving customer demands, and the factors that differentiate the organization in the market
- Acts as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience; may lead projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
- Solves complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
- Ability to interact effectively with peers, management, hospital staff, vendors, and other customers

WORK EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience supporting (analysis, build, and testing) HIM Applications (Release of Information, Coding, Deficiency Tracking and Identity). – required
- Experience with 3M (CRG, 360 Encompass) OnBase, Immtrac and iMed - preferred
- Four-year bachelor's degree or equivalent experience – required
- Enterprise App Analysts supporting software must demonstrate competency in software used in their role. All training and testing applicable to the role must be successfully completed and passed within 90 days of employment. Continuing education requirements must be completed and maintained for applications applicable to the role. - required
- Epic Release of Information, Coding, Deficiency Tracking and Identity certification or proficiency - required
