Location Details: Role is based in New York City but will need to be flexible to travel, both within US and possibly Europe (not a lot of travel expected but possible)

Job Description

  • We are looking for a talented and versatile Hands-On Live Event Producer and Videographer to join our team.
  • This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage live event production while also capturing high-quality video content.
  • The ideal candidate will be skilled in both event management and videography, ensuring that every event runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Production:
  • In collaboration with the global communications team plan, coordinate, and execute live events from start to finish, including logistics, scheduling, and freelancer management.
  • Strong experience in live events industry (inc network of freelance contacts)
Videography:
  • Capture high-quality, well-lit video footage before live events, including B roll if needed
  • Edit and produce video content pre and post-event, ensuring it aligns with the company’s branding and messaging.
Technical Oversight:
  • Set up and operate audio, video, and lighting equipment to ensure optimal production quality.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues on-site to ensure smooth event execution.
Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with event staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive event delivery.
  • Partner with comms colleagues
  • Translating non-technical briefs into technical requirements
  • Manage and direct on-site freelancers, providing clear instructions and support
  • Comfortable working alone on own initiative
On-Site Management:
  • Oversee the event timeline, ensuring all elements are executed as planned.
  • Adapt to changing circumstances and make real-time decisions to address any challenges.
Post-Event Review:
  • Conduct a debrief with the team to evaluate event success and gather feedback.
  • Deliver final video products in a timely manner and incorporate any requested revisions.
  • Proactively deliver improvements and suggestions
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Event Management, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in live event production and videography.
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and familiarity with camera equipment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a corporate environment/dealing directly with C Suite colleagues
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as events require.
  • A creative mindset with a keen eye for detail in both event production and videography.
Technologies required:
  • Experience of setting up and support for live event sound inc Yamaha consoles, Sennheiser wireless mics, dynamics, AEC, frequencies
  • Experience of setting up and support for studio lighting for live and pre recorded events
  • Experience of setting up and configuring static cameras for live events (Blackmagic cameras preferrered)
  • Knowledge of audio and video routing best practices
  • Experience of Microsoft Teams (inc Teams Live, Town Hall and Webinar)
  • Basic knowledge of Q SYS preferred
