Client is seeking a Sr Cisco Network Architect as a technical project lead, and as a network architect for design, implementation, and scoping for ITS professional service engagements. REQUIREMENTS: · 8+ years networking large-enterprise and/or data center experience. · 8+ years WAN/LAN design and implementation · 8+ years experience with network security/Firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper/Netscreen)· 8+ years experience with VPN/NAT · 8+ years experience with load balancing (prefer Cisco, F5, NetScalar)· Expertise in routing and switching protocols including: o OSPF o BGP o ISIS o EIGRP · Expertise on all major Cisco routing and switching hardware platforms but especially Cisco Nexus, Catalyst 6500 switches and Cisco routers · Expert in IOS troubleshooting · Experience with Network Management Tools (Opsware NAS, Solsoft, NetQoS, Wireshark)· Experience designing and building large, high demand enterprise systems with availability requirements approaching 99.99%· The ability and willingness to perform some level of travel to customer locations.· Demonstrated ability to perform in a client facing role, and to build trust and confidence in the technical leadership ability.Understanding of critical operation processes such as Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity Planning, and Security Management.CCIE DESIRED (but not mandatory)Candidate must be willing to work off hours and weekends on occasion
