Job Description
The Principal Trainer is responsible for developing and maintaining the EMR training curriculum, overall training strategy, and training environment to support successful system adoption. This role oversees the EMR credentialing program for end-user trainers and ensures trainers are properly prepared to deliver effective training. The ideal candidate holds Epic Cadence and Prelude certifications and has experience supporting EMR training initiatives and end-user education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the EMR training curriculum and overall training strategy.
- Create, manage, and maintain the EMR training environment to support training programs.
- Administer the EMR credentialing program for end-user trainers.
- Evaluate and certify end-user trainers to ensure they can effectively deliver training.
- Support the successful adoption of the EMR system through structured training initiatives.
- Maintain Epic certifications in Cadence and Prelude (required).
