Job Title: Python Developer

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid – 3 Days Work From Office)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Python Developer to join our GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) application team. This role involves building scalable backend services, developing integrations, and supporting automated workflows that power critical compliance and risk management systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and backend services

• Build and support REST API integrations, data pipelines, and scheduled jobs

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance

• Follow secure coding standards and participate in CI/CD and code quality processes

• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational runbooks

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on backend development experience

• Experience working with REST APIs, data processing, and SQL databases

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and shell scripting

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

• Experience with data platforms like Snowflake

• Knowledge of job scheduling, automation, and batch processing systems

• Familiarity with security scanning tools and enterprise software development practices
