Job Description
- This position will analyze and deliver on complex data analytics assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- They will work with business partners to gather requirements, build dashboards, and perform complex analysis to derive insights that will enhance business decisions.
- Additionally, this position will serve in a high-profile role guiding users’ growth in both self-service environments and purpose-driven dashboard design.
- Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for assigned area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
- Enhances organizational initiatives by positively influencing and supporting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Identifies and directs the implementation of process improvements that significantly improve quality across the team, department, and/or business unit for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provides subject matter expertise to team members and applicable internal/external stakeholders on complex assignments/projects for their assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Experienced with business and technical (system mapping)
- Can handle complex value and formulas as it relates to data mapping for annual statements and other complex assignments.
- Must be able to trace data through multiple system ‘hops’ in order to troubleshoot Root Cause for issues.
- Collaborates with business partners, broader data-aligned organizations, and application delivery teams to lead value-driven data insights aligned with the firm’s strategic priorities.
- Designs, builds, tests, maintains, and guides others in creating stable and scalable artifacts, requirements, reports, and complex metrics to meet business needs by transforming data into meaningful information.
- Educates and mentors both team members and business partners on data design and management concepts and best practices.
- Maintains an understanding of how the data contained in various systems are utilized and marries various aspects of the data into a usable format to support decision making.
- Ensures data integrity within dashboards and reports and develops procedures for increasing the quality and accuracy of information from multiple data sources.
- Communicates regularly with team members and business stakeholders to gather requirements and champion business analytics.
- Carries out duties in compliance with all state and federal regulations and guidelines. Complies with all company and site policies and procedures.
- Remains current in profession and industry trends.

- Ability to coordinate multiple and often disparate activities and resolution of issues across multiple teams.
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) (Minimum Required)
- 5 – 7+ Years of data analytics and/or reporting experience that directly aligns with the responsibilities of this position. (Required)
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret both internal and external documents such as general media/publications, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, policies, proposals, and standard operating procedures.
- Confident, comfortable communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels of management through clear, informed, and logical discussions/presentations.
- Apply concepts such as probability, statistics, modeling, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.
- Works with mathematical concepts such as averages and/or variances.
- Ability to analyze complex information and to evaluate the implications of a course of action or solution.
- Ability to interpret and apply common sense understanding to carry out a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

- Ability to work with and rationalize variable data from multiple systems, including both relational databases and data warehouses, and generate competitive intelligence and knowledge for decision making.
- Industry experience a plus.
- No Licensure or Certification Required.
