Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Drupal Lead with extensive expertise in Drupal 7, 8, 9, 10, and a strong background in Acquia solutions and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will lead the design and implementation of complex, high-performance Drupal applications, focusing on optimizing deployments and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires advanced knowledge of PHP 8 or above, Acquia Site Factory, Site Studio, and experience with JIRA for task management. As a Drupal Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring scalable, secure, and robust architecture for enterprise-grade Drupal websites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and development of scalable, high-performance Drupal applications using Drupal 7, 8, 9, and 10.
  • Design and implement solutions using Acquia Site Factory, Site Studio, and DevOps practices.
  • Manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the development, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Develop & maintain custom modules, themes, and ensure smooth integrations with third-party tools.
  • Oversee deployments using BLT and manage version control through GIT.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of Drupal-based projects.
  • Optimize system performance, security, and scalability in alignment with business needs.

Primary Skills:
  • Expertise in Drupal 7, 8, 9, and 10 development, with hands-on experience in customizing modules, themes, and site-building.
  • Strong proficiency with Acquia, Acquia Site Factory, and Site Studio.
  • Experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and JIRA for project management and task tracking.
  • Proficient in PHP 8 or above development, ensuring modern coding practices and performance optimization.
  • Advanced understanding of GIT, version control, and BLT deployments.
  • Site Studio certification is preferable.

Secondary Skills:
  • Experience in optimizing and scaling Drupal applications for enterprise environments.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with Drupal migrations and complex integrations.
  • Acquia certified or Acquia Grand Master certification.
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices, AMS processes, and use of tools like ServiceNow.
  • Consulting experience with a proven record of client-facing roles.

  • Process Flows
  • Mentor and Knowledge transfer to client project team members
  • Participate as primary, co and/or contributing author on any and all project deliverables associated with their assigned areas of responsibility
  • Participate in data conversion and data maintenance
  • Provide best practice and industry specific solutions
  • Advise on and provide alternative (out of the box) solutions
  • Provide thought leadership as well as hands on technical configuration/development as needed.
  • Participate as a team member of the functional team
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
