Job Description
The Senior IT Project Manager will lead and oversee complex, hospital-based technology projects with a primary focus on Nihon Kohden (NK) patient monitoring implementations and replacement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership in a clinical environment, the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, and expertise in both the technical and clinical dimensions of medical device ecosystems. The ideal candidate brings experience managing enterprise-level healthcare technology projects, collaborating with clinical and technical leadership, and ensuring seamless integration of medical devices, infrastructure, and supporting applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full lifecycle management of complex clinical IT projects, including planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk mitigation, and execution of Nihon Kohden patient monitoring implementations and upgrades.
  • Partner with clinical and technical stakeholders to ensure clear communication, proper requirements gathering, and alignment on project timelines, scope, and outcomes.
  • Oversee integration activities for medical device hardware, supporting infrastructure, and related clinical applications to ensure compliance, functionality, and operational readiness.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among clinical teams, biomedical engineering, IT infrastructure, vendors, and hospital leadership.
  • Provide consistent project updates tailored to both clinical and technical audiences, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Conduct onsite meetings with clinical leaders, end users, and key stakeholders to support project planning, validation, deployment, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory, security, and operational standards throughout project execution.
  • Utilize engineering or biomedical principles to support technical decision-making, troubleshooting, and system integration.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience
  • Direct experience with Nihon Kohden patient monitoring systems
  • Biomedical engineering or related clinical technology background
  • Strong understanding of hospital workflows and clinical environments
