Software Engineering Manager

Edgelink has an amazing opportunity to lead a green field development project.  Our client is a Fortune 500 Company based on the West Coast that is opening a new office in Downtown Denver.   They are building a new team to create a new consumer facing application.  This is a very high profile project and they are embracing the latest technologies stack. 

What you will be doing:

• Providing hands on leadership to a small development team (Engineers, QA, UX)
• Mentoring and growing the teams technical skills
• Provide direction and define best practices and processes
• Work with Product Development  and stakeholders to define application requirement’s
• Participate in architecture and coding of the application (This is a hands on role)!

What you need:

• BS in Engineering or technical field
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of management or technical leadership
• Java (7 or 8)
• Spring/MVC
• JavaScript-React/Angular
• RESTful services
• Kubernetes /DevOps experience would be nice
• OOA/OOD
• Agile
