Healthcare company based in Los Angeles is looking for a Sr Business Analyst.
This is a direct hire position only and candidate must be based in LA area to be able to come to HQ when needed. Position is 90% remote.


Core Qualifications

    • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
    Technical Proficiency
      • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
      • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, and data modeling. Good SQL skills are a must.
      • Understanding of APIs, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and enterprise systems.
      • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
        • Strong ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
        • Experience conducting gap analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments.

        Soft Skills & Characteristics
          • Stakeholder Management
            • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, product managers, and executives.
            • Skilled in gathering and prioritizing requirements from diverse stakeholders.
            • Communication
              • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
              • Ability to create clear documentation, user stories, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
              • Strategic Thinking
                • Ability to align business needs with technology solutions.
                • Experience contributing to product roadmaps and long-term planning.
                • Adaptability & Initiative
                  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments.
                  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

                    Bonus Attributes
                      • Certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications.
                      • Experience in change management or digital transformation initiatives.
                      • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts or data science workflows.
