Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Product Owner (TPO) to lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of capabilities within Adobe Experience Platform (AEP). This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, platform engineering teams, and governance leaders, ensuring that AEP capabilities such as Real-Time CDP, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and data governance are effectively implemented, governed, and adopted.

The ideal candidate combines product management discipline with deep technical understanding of data integration, identity management, and marketing technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Backlog Management

  • Own and maintain the AEP product backlog, translating business needs into well-defined user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize features, enhancements, and fixes in alignment with enterprise goals and governance policies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to refine and validate requirements for journeys, analytics, audience segmentation, and new data sources.
Cross-Team Coordination & Delivery
  • Collaborate closely with platform engineers, data stewards, architects, and LOB teams to deliver features on time.
  • Identify dependencies, manage risks, and work to remove blockers across multiple workstreams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the AEP Platform & Data Team and Experience Development Teams.
Governance & Compliance Alignment
  • Ensure all new features and data sources comply with AEP governance, privacy, and security policies.
  • Partner with data governance leads to review and approve schema changes, dataset enablement, and identity stitching policies.
  • Support adherence to stage-gate approvals from architects, lead engineers, and data stewards.
Capability Enablement & Optimization
  • Drive enablement for AEP features such as AJO, CJA, and RTCDP for business teams.
  • Identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and adoption of new Adobe capabilities.
  • Coordinate training and documentation for business and technical users.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, technical program management, or platform ownership in MarTech or data platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform components, including Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, and Customer Journey Analytics.
  • Understanding of identity management, data ingestion workflows, schema governance, and profile stitching.
  • Proven ability to write clear, actionable Jira stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Audience Manager, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of API integrations, batch/streaming data pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations (HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA) and their impact on customer data management.
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
