Job Description and Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy custom Workday Extend apps to meet PRISMrelated business needs
• Translate business requirements into Extend application architecture and designs
• Use Workday’s App Builder and REST/SOAP APIs to integrate with Workday data and services
• Implement secure, rolebased access aligned with State policies
• Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Prepare documentation for app design, support, and maintenance
• Participate in agile sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives as needed
• Required Skills & Qualifications
• A four (4) year combination of higherlevel programming.   A master’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science may be substituted for two (2) may be substituted for (1) year of programming experience.
• 3+ years of Workday development experience, including at least 1 year with Workday Extend
• Handson configuration experience within Workday Extend
• Proven ability to develop detailed configuration specification documentation.
• Proficiency with JavaScript, Node.js, and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP)
• Strong understanding of Workday security model, domains, and role assignments
• Experience designing user interfaces using Workday App Builder
• Ability to read and interpret Workday business processes and reporting logic
• Familiarity with Git or version control tools
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Strong technical aptitude, analytical and excellent problemsolving abilities and creative resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid team setting
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting public sector Workday implementations
• Familiarity with Workday Studio and Workday Integration Cloud
• Experience working in large enterprise or multiagency environments
• Agile/Scrum team participation experience
