Job Summary:
- The Workday Security Administrator is a collaborative and consultative change agent responsible for managing, monitoring, supporting, and governing the security of the Workday application while adhering to security policies and controls.
- This role requires prior Workday HR, Payroll, Reporting, and Integrations systems security knowledge and experience, preferably implementing or managing Workday HCM and Payroll security.
- The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally, working with teams to understand security needs, document comprehensive security requirements, partner with Information Security Officers to ensure compliance with corporate standards, and serve as the subject matter expert for Workday security configuration.
- Ownership of end-to-end Workday security administration.
- Maintain a close audit/vigil of all security nuances and ensure that the production tenant is safe, stable, and compliant across all permissions, privileges, and access controls.
- Provide expert advice and security-related consultancy by leading security design and bringing best practices to Workday cross-functional teams.
- Review and approve Workday security requests.
- Create, document, and maintain internal control procedures and results.
- Maintain the Workday security configuration documentation.
- Perform security impact analysis for change requests and Workday releases.
- Collaborate with internal project teams and external partner resources.
- Asses the feasibility of security configuration changes and their impact on HR and Payroll business processes.
- Develop and execute test plans based on security requirements, tracking defects and fixes to resolution.
- Handle incident tickets and change requests in accordance with change control and incident management protocols and SLAs.
- Perform security mass data loads in Workday (EIBs) – Assignment.
- Assist in the internal and external audit process.
- Conduct audits to ensure data integrity (i.e., users, role assignment, etc.).
- Support other duties as assigned.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of HR systems experience.
- Working knowledge of Workday Security.
- Results-oriented with a high degree of independence, collaboration, agility, and adaptability.
- Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work on highly cross-functional project teams.
- Ability to work with project team members at all levels.
- Healthcare industry background.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related discipline OR Equivalent experience.
