Digital Transformation – O365

Our client is a multinational conglomerate building brands globally through consumer products and entertainment.

CHALLENGE

Our client was looking to fully leverage their “O365 toolkit”. This included migrating from an on-prem legacy document management solution to SharePoint, training end-users, gaining buy-in for the new tools, ensuring they were being utilized and providing ongoing support. The migration to SharePoint was an important aspect of leveraging O365. The client was not looking to just do “lift & shift” of the data, they wanted to use this opportunity to understand and ultimately improve the workflows of end-users by standardizing processes.

APPROACH

Talent Groups provided a Collaboration Specialist to serve as an O365 advocate across the global organization. This consultant delivered end-user training, partnered with business teams to understand collaboration needs, and provided hands-on support to drive adoption and increase utilization of both new and existing tools.

To support the transition from legacy systems, Talent Groups also supplied a SharePoint Consultant who worked alongside internal developers and business analysts to design and implement optimized document libraries, improving organization, accessibility, and productivity.

Additionally, Talent Groups staffed Desktop Support Specialists to perform ongoing, after-hours system upgrades across the enterprise, ensuring seamless updates for both PC and Mac users without disrupting business operations.

IMPACT

The client successfully rolled out O365 SharePoint across the organization without major disruption to day-to-day operations. End users established standardized processes to better leverage the full O365 toolkit, resulting in improved workflows and increased efficiency enterprise-wide.

Talent Groups remains a trusted partner, providing ongoing recruiting support for digital transformation initiatives and other technology projects across the organization.
