CLIENT OVERVIEW
Our client is a large healthcare organization with an academic medical center, physician network, several hospitals, community care, and the largest home health and hospice provider in the region. They offer a seamless and integrated health journey for the patients and families they serve.
CHALLENGE
The organization was undertaking an enterprise-wide Epic implementation to unify multiple health systems operating on different legacy EHR platforms—one of the largest initiatives the client had ever pursued. With an aggressive timeline, the client needed to rapidly assemble high-performing teams with deep Epic Revenue Cycle expertise to provide subject matter leadership and successfully build and implement the Epic applications.
APPROACH
Because the client was transitioning from multiple legacy EHRs to a single, enterprise-wide Epic platform, their internal teams required Epic-certified consultants to serve as subject matter experts throughout the build and implementation. Talent Groups leveraged its extensive national network to deliver Epic-certified resources across Resolute HB and PB, SBO, HIM, Claims, and Charge Router, helping fully staff the Revenue Cycle teams.
We conducted a nationwide search to identify top Epic talent across the U.S. Since many consultants were non-local, we supported onsite collaboration by coordinating travel, enabling in-person training, and fostering strong relationships between consultants and business stakeholders. Where appropriate, consultants worked remotely, and Talent Groups facilitated rapid onboarding and ongoing support, including equipment provisioning and virtual consultant care.

Through referrals, rigorous screening, and reference checks, we delivered dependable, high-quality consultants and minimized turnover by providing attentive consulting care and continuous support throughout the engagement.
IMPACT
Talent Groups leveraged more than 10 years of experience delivering Epic-certified talent to support the client’s Revenue Cycle initiative, providing a team of 15 consultants. Our consultants led build, testing, and go-live support across multiple locations, supporting applications including Resolute Professional Billing, Resolute Hospital Billing, HIM, Cadence, Prelude, and Security. They also managed the migration and organization of legacy system data into Epic, helping ensure uninterrupted hospital operations throughout the transition. In addition, Talent Groups provided market insight and advisory support to help the client attract and retain top Epic talent.
As a result, the client successfully completed its Epic EHR implementation within 12 months and on schedule, recognizing Talent Groups as a critical partner in meeting this milestone. Following go-live, our consultants continued to provide ongoing support, knowledge transfer, and training to internal teams. This strong, experienced delivery team played a key role in maintaining financial stability and operational continuity as the organization transitioned from legacy EHR systems to Epic.
