Technology job seekers are often screened based on their technical skills. Technical skills, include programming languages, tools, and operating systems you have a high level of experience using either through employment or otherwise.

List all of your relevant technical skills in a skills section on your resume.

For senior-level professionals, you can create multiple, more specific categories for your technical skills. Go a step further, and include achievement-focused bullet points in an experience section that explicitly mention your technical skills and put them into context.
